Vreugdenhil Bulbs & Plants is a potted plant and bulbs nursery with 3 locations around Westland. The company was founded in 1938 by Jochem Vreugdenhil Sr. Currently, the nursery is run by his grandson Jochem Vreugdenhil and has grown into one of the largest nurseries of its kind.
Various products are grown underneath 120.000m2 of glass all year round, from Amaryllis, Canna, Calla lily and Caladium. Vreugdenhil Bulbs and Plants also develops its own concepts, such as No Water Flowers, Callalicious, African breeze and Garden bouquet.
Vreugdenhil Bulbs & Plants is committed to helping the environment, and is certified for various MPS-GAP, MPS- Socially Qualified, and MPS-Quality certificates. The plants are grown in Green Label greenhouses, which are built according to strict environmental standards and contribute to the sustainability of the horticulture sector. The company uses 640 solar panels for energy, works with cogeneration and has underground water storage.
