Top 5 special foliage anthuriums

For us, the Anthurium ranks high in the list of plants with special leaves. In addition to the varieties with glossy leaves and colourful spathes, there are also several varieties that steal the show with their beautiful leaves. We have listed a few of these special foliage anthuriums for you.

Anthurium Crystallinum
This Anthurium steals the show with its stunning veins. The name of this plant already hints at its appearance; the markings on the leaves of the Anthurium Crystallinum seem to glisten as if tiny crystals are embedded on them. This variety grows relatively quickly compared to other Anthurium varieties, sometimes even producing multiple leaves at the same time.

 

Anthurium Warocqueanum
The leaves of the Anthurium Warocqueanum resemble long, draped capes of green velvet. The beautiful, dark leaves are exceptionally pointed and each has a unique pattern. This Anthurium takes a long time to grow large and is therefore relatively rare and valuable, which is why it is also known as the Queen Anthurium.

Anthurium Balaloanum
When the new leaves of the Anthurium Balaloanum unfold, they are very soft and almost translucent, as if you are looking through a curtain. This species is a bit tricky to maintain, but once you get the hang of it, it can produce large leathery leaves. Give this Anthurium some support to help the foliage grow upright and beautifully.

Anthurium Regale
Crazy about large leaves? Then you are in the right place with the Anthurium Regale. This plant is seen by many as a collector's item thanks to its enormous leaves that can grow up to 90 centimetres long. The velvety texture and the pattern of the veins make this plant even more graceful and give it a real wow factor.

Anthurium Arrow
This variety is also a true hit. The leaves of the Anthurium Arrow have a special shape that resembles an arrow, from which it also gets its name. Because the leaves point upwards a little, this effect is enhanced even more. The high aerial roots give it an almost otherworldly touch, making it a striking addition to any plant collection.
