Are you just as bedazzled by this piece of art as we are? Then Azuma Makoto succeeded! Everything he does is aimed at enhancing the value of flowers and plants in a mysterious and unique way. Like this recycled Christmas tree that has been turned into an extraordinary frozen art piece, like no-one ever saw a Christmas tree before!
The winter theme has a futuristic, stylish and playful aura, like a dreamy winter fairy tale in the glistening snow. In winter, the plants are a cool grey with white flowers, a perfect match for the freezing weather. The colour palette is delicate and frosty, ranging from gloomy velvet grey, subtle teal and cloud white to sky blue. Patterns are graphic and futuristic.
Autumn is here again, like a trusted old friend. We draw a timeless, rustic feeling from nature and the security of a warm colour palette. We surround ourselves with shades that we associate with earth, sand, desert, iron and rust. Cold tones meet warm and golden shades to make smooth combinations.
Here we stand before a cheerful, playful and summery colour palette, inspired by the eighties. Vivid orange accentuates matte lilac tones, light pink-lilac leaning towards lavender and harebell blue. The result exudes calm and, simultaneously, a need not to be too serious.
The hues of the earth are never far away and offer a much-needed addition to our modern day-to-day lives. They have their origins in the colours of Mother Earth and remind us of the shared origin of all countries and cultures.
Time for a cheerful colour explosion! We see before us an expressive palette of bold reds and pinks – powerful, eye-catching colours.
For the first time in forever Pantone created and chose an entirely new hue to be the colour of the year: Very Peri. While they normally choose from a standard colour palette, they stepped aside and broke all traditions.
This theme focuses on renewable materials such as cork, bark, jute, grass and several types of wood. It allows us to express our connection with the earth and our common origin in everything we do.
